About the Book

The continuing story of the Schwartz Sonne. This volume takes place subsequent to the assassination of John F. Kennedy, already covered in Coup D'Etat, volume 2. Hans Kammler is hospitalised, the Schwartz Sonne under attack from a variety of enemies, and both Johan Kolar and Mary McGhee are captured after being pursued by American security agencies. Mike O'Connor wants his pound of flesh for the murder of his son at Kammler's direction. The prehistory of the Vrillya is revealed, along with the destruction of Atlantis. They didn't offend the Gods, but were destroyed by the power of the Great Pyramid, after attacking the world power grid and other civlisations of 12,000 BC. Is Hans Kammler too old to maintain his iron grip on the SS, or will he move aside for Oskar von Meininger and the newly born Schwartz Stein?
About the Author: I've had a long, full, and interesting life, of happiness, fun, and trouble, and strife. I started drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil, according to my mother. I have been drawing and painting ever since, and have a B.A. Honours Degree in graphic Design. At the age of 10, my last year in Junior School, I won a short story writing competition at school. My biggest disappointment was in being asked where I had copied the story from. I have been writing stories and novels ever since, but never quite managed to get my ideas into print until self-publishing came along. That I am selling books has justified my decision to avoid agents and publishers. I attended the Derby College of Art in 1972 and went on to do my degree course in Coventry in 1973. While here I met some amazing people and was introduced to a wide range of music. I also took up Kung Fu, an interest which has remained with me and I am now Fourth Dan in Shotokan Karate and Self-Defence. Ten years ago I set up my own club, Kanso Do, and have taught many students since then. Recently (July 2016) I had the pleasure of awarding a Black Belt to one of my students. Mentions of Kanso Do in my novels, like many other topics and ideas, is based in fact and on personal knowledge of martial arts. Over the years I have kept myself fit and flexible and still train regularly to this day. I have always had a passion for music and I believe I was very lucky to have grown up in the late 60's and 70's when there was such a blossoming in music of all kinds. I could not possibly suggest a favourite song, album, or even musician. There are far too many. What I will say, is that the more astute of you will recognise some song titles used as chapter headers. These will give an indication of what I really like to listen to. When I retired, several years ago, I set about writing seriously, and took up playing keyboard then, more recently, Ukulele and guitar. It probably goes without saying that I read avidly in a wide range of subjects, although my favourite genre is science fiction. I have done a great deal of research for the "Reich of the Black Sun" series and there is a selected bibliography at the back of each book. Same as with the music, I could barely give you a list of my favourite hundred writers, and I could never give one. What I will say is that I can read and enjoy a new writer, just as much as one from 60 or more years ago.
