About the Book

We all dream, many of us quite often. Some of those dreams can be pretty realistic. What if your dreams just kept getting more real each night? What if one night you dreamed that you were in the middle of a thunderstorm, throwing lightning bolts at a saguaro cactus on the top of a mountain? What if you awoke the next morning to find news reports of a freak lightning storm the night before, where there were 25 or 30 lightning strikes on one single cactus, almost as though some one had been using it for target practice? What then? Then imagine that you find out that there others who have already gone through what you are going through now. How would you react? Would you think you were losing your mind? Many people would think so under such circumstances. If it were real, what would you do then? Would you use your new found gifts to grant your every wish, or to help others? What would others think of you if they found out? Perhaps more to the point, what might they do to you? The God Game is one mans' journey through the "what ifs" he suddenly finds himself confronted with. What he decides, and how he reacts could literally change the direction of an entire world. Find out what he does, and what it costs him.
About the Author: D. Ron Mack was born in a small town, in the eastern tip of Tennessee, in 1949. Looking for work, his father eventually found it in the automobile factories of Flint Michigan. As D. Ron grew, he showed an interest in religion, as well as a real talent for music, and writing. He played violin and viola from the 4th grade through high school. In his junior year, he entered a state wide competition open to all the high schools in the state of Michigan, and was chosen as the best violist of all the high schools in the state. He also got his first guitar at age 9 and was hooked from that point on. He played in numerous bands over the years and made a fair living at it for several years. He still plays guitar with some old friends today at least once a week. D. Ron dropped out of high school in his senior year and joined the Marine Corps. During that time, he finished his studies and earned a G.E.D. He was discharged in 1971. In 1976 he was married for the first time, and moved to Phoenix Arizona in 1981 with his wife and daughter. His son was born shortly thereafter. He entered the Health Insurance business and spent 31 years in that business. He got some on the job training, and became part of the Information Technology end of the business. Reading and studying are a life time passion with him. He stopped reading science fiction and fantasy exclusively, and started getting into the self help and/or New Age genre. He has been influenced by many authors such as Neal Donald Walsch, Louise Hay, Sylvia Browne, Dr. Raymond Moody, and too many others to name. He worked on past life regression with a friend who holds a Ph.D. in clinical hypnotherapy, Dr. Andy Yates. Some of the things he discovered in these sessions had a profound effect on his life. He intends to write a novel about some of these past life experiences. D. Ron now resides in Scottsdale Arizona, with his 37 guitars, and his little dog, Buddy
