Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensethik, Wirtschaftsethik, Note: 2,0, Hochschule Fresenius Düsseldorf, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit widmet sich der Glaubwürdigkeit der Außendarstellung sozialer Verantwortung in Unternehmen am Beispiel der Siemens-Schmiergeldaffäre. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit wird zunächst ein Überblick über die Entwicklung, die Dimensionen und Bestandteile der Ethik, Wirtschafts- und Unternehmensethik, sowie Corporate Social Responsibility gegeben. Anschließend folgt im zweiten Teil eine Vorstellung der Siemens AG und Ihrer Unternehmenshistorie. Im Anschluss daran wird eine Chronologie des Korruptionsskandals von 2006 bis 2008 dargelegt. Die folgenden Abschnitte befassen sich mit den Folgen des Skandals für alle betroffenen Stakeholder und deren Umgang mit den Auswirkungen unter Berücksichtigung, der im ersten Teil ausgearbeiteten ethischen und sozialen Grundsätze. Darüber hinaus werden die von Siemens ergriffenen Gegenmaßnahmen aufgezeigt und hinsichtlich ihrer Wirksamkeit analysiert. Abschließend beschäftigt sich diese Arbeit mit der Umsetzung des Verständnisses und der Integration von sozialer Unternehmensverantwortung in Mission, Vision, Werten und Grundsätzen. Zum Abschluss werden alle gewonnenen Erkenntnisse in Form eines Fazits zusammengefasst. Lange Zeit hatten Unternehmen und Nationalstaaten deckungsgleiche Rahmenbedingungen hinsichtlich ihres ökonomischen, ökologischen und sozialen Handelns. Heute ist das zunehmend anders. Die Globalisierung, interkontinentale Supply Chains und der Verkauf von Produkten und Dienstleistungen auf globalen Absatzmärkten drängen Konzerne dazu, in verschiedenen Nationalstaaten gleichzeitig tätig zu sein. Dies führt dazu, dass sich diese Unternehmen in einem globalen, nicht mehr allein nationalstaatlich regulierbaren Wettbewerb befinden, aus dem besondere Herausforderungen erwachsen.
