About the Book

Daddy Holiday is one of those Texas ranchers, you kmow the kind. They are on a first name basis with senators and presidents. He's different though. He has his little hobbies, like KCL, a little TV station in Dallas. His wife. Betsy runs it. They were childhood sweethearts, and what Betsy wants Daddy Holloway sees to it that she gets it. Trouble is, what Betsy wants more than anything is grandchildren. Neither of those twin boys of theirs is married. or looking forward to asking any girl to help produce those grandchildren, and they are almost thirty years old. There's only one way Daddy Holloway thinks of to get those grand babies. He wants to call the show Bachelor Live, but Betsy changed that to Marry by Thirty. Steve doesn't like the idea, but everyone knows how his twin has been trying to date Faith. She's been his mother's right hand girl for two and a half years, and she doesn't date her boss's son. Too many problems if they break up, she thinks. Now Steve and Davy are identical twins. Faith goes them one better. She's one of those rarities, identical triplets. Hope and Charity are both back in New Jersey where they grew up, Charity expecting a baby soon and Hope teaching first grade. Add Diedra the actress from Hollywood, Ane Marie the lawyer from Seattle, Bonnie from Montana, Louise who was Miss New Orlens but didn't win Miss Louisiana so she could do on to Miss America, and Frannie fromOklahoma a rodeo queen of barrel racing and you can wonder which one will be chosen to be Steve's wife, or even if they all want to be that. Four weeks for Steve to get to know them. There might be some surprises along the way. Is there another reason to marry by thirty? Faith is the mother hen taking care of these six girls, seeing that they learn to ride motor cycles and enjoy their stay at the motel. She might even wish that one of her sisters could join her. Read Girl Talk as each tells her story. It's girl talk, but maybe the boys want to talk as well.
