Girl in the World is a book of short stories and poetry by Regina Rock. This is her 2nd published title. About the Author: Regina Rock was born in a Displaced Persons Camp in Germany in 1947. At three years old, she emigrated with her family to New York City where she grew up in the Bronx and Queens. She attended Performing Arts High School as a Drama Major. She graduated Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Literature. She also attended the University of California in Santa Barbara as a Teaching Assistant for a Masters Degree in French Literature and Sonoma State College in Rohnert Park, California to complete a Masters in French Education. When she returned to New York, she earned another Masters in Literacy Education and a Professional Degree in Supervision and Administration in Education. Regina taught Reading and Writing in New York City Elementary Schools for twenty-six years. She and her husband, Myron, raised two sons and live in Queens, New York. She published her first book Post Holocaust Baby in 2014.
