About the Book

The Ghost of Henry Schnieber is a story of greed, vengeance, suspense and the paranormal . . .and that is just the beginning. 1856, the town of Greeley is being terrorized by Henry Schnieber and his henchmen for protection money; but, when a loved and respected member of the community is killed because he can't pay, the towns people decide enough is enough and do something about it. They devise a plan so sinister, that even time can't heal its scars. 2006, a CID officer is put on the case of a series of burning's; some believe it is Spontaneous Human Combustion, others, including Simon don't. DI Simon Jackson is convinced he has been sent on a wild goose chase. Then, he is teamed up with Collette who shows him a world he could not believe exists, until now! This story will twist and turn you. It will shock you to your core . . . brace yourself, The Ghost of Henry Schnieber might be coming for you next!
About the Author: Angela L. Garratt - Author, poet and editor; she is currently studying to be a journalist. Angela is the former editor of the Walsall Poetry Society and has published many short stories for anthologies, her latest 'The Man with Bio-degradable Skin' for an anthology called Sins of the Future. Angela runs a successful writers group at Oldbury Library in the West Midlands and is an advocate of the libraries. She believes that libraries are becoming like little community centers that are essential for the general population. She has taken part in a documentary for the Walsall Poetry Society, she has been on television and in the media with her voluntary work for Sandwell Libraries. Angela has written all her life; she started at an early age writing non-fiction about animals. It was her dream as a child to work with animals; however, as she got older she realised that much of her happiness came from writing about them. By the time she was 21 years old, Angela had written her first book, 'Wildlife in Colour', drawing all the illustrations herself. Much to her dis - pleasure, she never got this book published due to her personal circumstances at the time. Angela is passionate about her writing, but her family are just as important. Her partner is a musician and music producer so both her and her partner move in very artistic circles. Angela has four cats and a tortoise, whom she loves dearly. To her they are family, not pets. She has fostered animals in the past when they have been in need of help and uses social media to help re unite lost animals with their owners. Angela is currently involved in a long line of writing projects and loves every second of it. She says she would not give up writing for all the money in the world.
