Dabei wird auf die allgemeine Neurowissenschaft, die Neurobiologie und Neuropsychologie näher eingegangen. Erst dadurch kann festgestellt werden, wie eine gezielte Verhaltensänderung beim Rezipienten verwirklicht werden kann. Auch wenn ein Event als einmalig gehandhabt wird, ist eine zugehörige Zielsetzung die wissenschaftliche Auswertung des menschlichen Verhaltens, um nachweisliche Ergebnisse bei dem Auftraggeber der Veranstaltung bereitstellen zu können. Bisher gibt es kaum literarische Werke oder Studien zur Evaluierung der neurowissenschaftlichen Verhaltensänderung bei einem Event. Daher ist es erforderlich, theoretische Ansätze zur Kontrolle der Verhaltensänderung heranzuziehen und mit der Event Branche in Verbindung zu bringen. Ein erfolgreiches Event durchzuführen ist das Streben eines jeden Veranstalters. Emotionen, Botschaften, Inszenierungen und Erlebnisse bieten, eine definierte Zielgruppe bestimmen, nachhaltige Erinnerungen schaffen - von diesen Faktoren hängt eine gelungene Veranstaltung ab. Diese Begriffe sind im Eventmanagement und Eventmarketing weit verbreitet. Der Fokus bei einem Event liegt somit auf den Bedürfnissen der Teilnehmer. Um die Anforderungen für eine gelungene Veranstaltung erfüllen zu können, muss der menschliche Verstand untersucht werden.
