Licensed psychologists Francine Beauvoir, PhD, and Bruce Crapuchettes, PhD, know of what they write in the Trilogy, "GETTING BACK THE LOVE WE HAD - Ending the Power Struggle". About the Author: Francine and Bruce are both licensed psychologists who have been married to each other over fifty years, have four adult children and six grandchildren. They specialize in working with people in relationship: couples, parents, and singles who want to be in relationship. Both are on the faculty of the Imago International Institute in New York City and Bruce has been the Dean of the Faculty for the two years 2003/4. Bruce received his Ph.D. from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena. Francine received her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. She has written a book on parenting called, "Raising Cooperative and Self-confident Children." They say, "Working with relationships has become our specialty ever since we went to a Getting The Love You Want Couples Workshop put on by Harville Hendrix in 1989. We were in deep trouble then in our relationship, and even though we were psychologists trying to help others, we were in crisis ourselves. The workshop was a profound experience for us and turned us 180 degrees around. We are hoping to share what we are learning with you." After the workshop, they studied under Dr. Harville Hendrix for the next five years. For 23 years they put on his workshops and trained psychotherapists in Imago Relationship Therapy. Bruce and Francine are Certified as Imago Relationship Therapists, Workshop Presenters and Clinical Instructors. Bruce is one of five Master Trainers internationally. Both are members of the American Psychological Association and Imago Relationships International. They both moved to Emeritus status on the faculty in 2016. Bruce was raised in China of missionary parents, while Francine was raised in France. They met and married in Paris and have remained international ever since, putting on workshops and trainings in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Croatia and France. Bruce and Francine are in demand as speakers. They are experienced educators and trained therapists in Imago Relationship Therapy from 1993 to 2016.. They co-founded the Pasadena Institute For Relationships in Pasadena, California, in 1990. The Pasadena Institute For Relationships was the West coast training center for Imago Relationship Therapy until 2016. They now live in Paris and still operate as the "Pasadena Institute For Relationships". Now they focus on writing books and articles, seeing clients and giving supervision both in Paris and via Skype.
