Die Beratung im Feld der Förderschularbeit verfolgt die Absicht, Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen in ihrem schulischen und beruflichen Werdegang zu unterstützen. Im Zuge der Inklusion wird dem Handlungsfeld des Beraters eine immer größer werdende Wichtigkeit zugeschrieben und der Ausbau der Beratungskompetenzen steht genauso im Fokus der Förderschullehrkräfteausbildung, wie der Ausbau der fachlichen Kompetenzen. Im Seminar "Gesprächsführung in sonderpädagogischen Arbeitsfeldern" wurden Einblicke in die Techniken der Gesprächsführung und der Funktion des Beratens gewährt. Behandelt wurde z.B. die kooperative Beratung, als Beispiel einer Methode der personenzentrierten Gesprächsführung, welche in Schulen bereits auf eine lange Tradition zurückblicken kann. So nahm der "personenzentrierte Ansatz" nach Rogers (1986) seinen Anfang in den 1980er Jahren. Die vorliegende Hausarbeit soll einen Überblick geben über den Ablauf eines Beratungsgesprächs, die darin angewendeten Techniken der Gesprächsführung sowie Verbesserungsvorschläge. Durchgeführt wurde das nachfolgende, eigens durchgeführte Beratungsgespräch an der Goethe Universität Frankfurt, wobei die Rolle des Klienten von einer Kommilitonin übernommen wurde. Der Aufbau der hier angewendeten Reflexionsmethode beinhaltet ein dreistufiges Modell mit den Schwerpunkten Erinnern, Reflektieren und Planen. Das erste Kapitel illustriert die Phasen des Gesprächs anhand eines Gedächtnisprotokolls, sowie positive und negative Aspekte der Gesprächsführung. Daran gliedert sich im zweiten Kapitel die Reflexion an, welche z.B. den Aspekten nachgeht, ob ein Lernerfolg hinsichtlich der eigenen Beraterrolle zu erkennen
