Studienarbeit aus dem Fachbereich Soziologie - Arbeit, Ausbildung, Organisation, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Care-Arbeit wird in den wenigsten Fällen gleichberechtigt ausgeführt. Meistens wird die schlecht bezahlte Care-Arbeit von immigrierten Frauen und die unbezahlte Care-Arbeit von Frauen im Allgemeinen erledigt. Auch wenn immer mehr Männer Interesse daran zeigen, werden sie oft durch die geringe Entlohnung und Anerkennung dieser Arbeiten sowie durch traditionelle Geschlechterrollenerwartungen abgeschreckt. In diesem Rahmen beleuchte ich die Aussage, warum Care-Tätigkeiten oft un- beziehungsweise unterbezahlt sind und wieso diese überwiegend von Frauen ausgeübt werden. Im ersten Kapitel werde ich darauf eingehen, wie Care definiert werden kann, wobei Care Arbeiten im und außerhalb des Erwerbssektors einschließt. Care wird konstant als unbezahlte, rassialisierte und feminisierte Arbeit klassifiziert und meist, vor dem Hintergrund von zu verringernden Kosten, ausgelagert. Durch eine Einordnung der Entstehung von Geschlechterstrukturen in der Arbeitswelt, werde ich die heutige Stellung von Care analysieren. Dabei werde ich zu der Erkenntnis kommen, dass diejenigen, die Care-Arbeiten delegieren, sich aufgrund von Rasse, Klasse und Nationalität in einer Machtposition befinden. Weiterhin werde ich der Fragestellung nachgehen, ob die vorherrschenden Strukturen naturgegeben oder durch Sozialisation anerzogen sind, wobei schnell deutlich wird, dass die verschiedenen Geschlechter sich genetisch kaum voneinander unterscheiden. Abschließend analysiere ich die Auslagerung von Care an meist illegal immigrierte Frauen, und warum das nicht die Lösung sein kann.
