Schulpolitik, Note: 2,1, Universität Paderborn, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit soll der Frage nachgegangen werden, inwieweit geschlechterreflektierte Jungenarbeit in der Institution Schule umsetzbar ist und welche Potenziale und Problematiken mit jungenspezifischer Arbeit einhergehen. Zu Beginn werden die Sozialisationsbedingungen und Herausforderungen von Jungen in Deutschland beschrieben, um die Relevanz von jungenpädagogischem Handlungsbedarf zu zeigen. Es wird unter anderem auf die Lebenswelt und Männlichkeitsanforderungen an Jungen sowie Individualisierungsprozesse und deren Einfluss auf Jungen eingegangen. Danach wird das Verhalten von Jungen im System Schule betrachtet, um den Bedarf für geschlechterreflektierte Jungenarbeit an Schulen herauszustellen. Zur allgemeinen Begriffsbestimmung von geschlechterreflektierter Jungenarbeit werden die theoretischen Überlegungen von Reinhard Winter und Kurt Möller herangezogen. Im Anschluss daran werden Zielbestimmungen und Kernsätze von Jungenarbeit vorgestellt, und es werden verschiedene Möglichkeiten für die Umsetzung in der Praxis des Schulalltags angeführt. Im letzten Kapitel wird behandelt, welche Schwierigkeiten sich bei jungenspezifischen Angeboten ergeben und welche Grenzen es gibt. Den Abschluss der Arbeit bildet ein Fazit. Bis etwa zum Jahre 2000 galt die Aufmerksamkeit geschlechtsbezogener Theorie und Praxis vor allem den Mädchen. Immer häufiger werden aber auch Jungen in den Fokus genommen und finden Beachtung in Pädagogik und Bildungspolitik. Es wird anerkannt, dass auch Jungen spezifisch gefördert werden müssen. Die Debatte um Jungenpädagogik ist allerdings nicht neu. Bereits in den 1980er Jahren galt die Orientierung an traditionellen hegemonialen Mustern als problematisch, aufgrund von sich wandelnden gesellschaftlichen Transformationsprozessen.
