GenesisIn the beginning of God's preparingthe heavens and the earth-- the earthhath existed waste and void, anddarkness is on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering onthe face of the waters, and God saith, `Let light be;' and light is. And Godseeth the light that it is good, andGod separateth between the light andthe darkness, and God calleth to thelight `Day, ' and to the darkness Hehath called `Night;' and there is anevening, and there is a morning--dayone. And God saith, `Let an expansebe in the midst of the waters, andlet it be separating between watersand waters.' And God maketh theexpanse, and it separateth betweenthe waters which are under theexpanse, and the waters which areabove the expanse: and it is so. AndGod calleth to the expanse `Heavens;'and there is an evening, and there isa morning--day second. And God saith, `Let the waters under the heavens becollected unto one place, and let thedry land be seen: ' and it is so. AndGod calleth to the dry land `Earth, 'and to the collection of the watersHe hath called `Seas;' and God seeththat it is good. And God saith, `Letthe earth yield tender grass, herbsowing seed, fruit-tree (whose seedis in itself) making fruit after itskind, on the earth: ' and it is so.And the earth bringeth forth tendergrass, herb sowing seed after itskind, and tree making fruit (whoseseed is in itself) after its kind;and God seeth that it is good; andthere is an evening, and there is amorning--day third. And God saith, `Let luminaries be in the expanse ofthe heavens, to make a separationbetween the day and the night, thenthey have been for signs, and forseasons, and for days and years, andthey have been for luminaries in theexpanse of the heavens to give lightupon the earth: ' and it is so. AndGod maketh the two great luminaries, the great luminary for the rule ofthe day, and the small luminary--andthe stars--for the rule of the night;and God giveth them in the expanse ofthe heavens to give light upon theearth, and to rule over day and overnight, and to make a separationbetween the light and the darkness;and God seeth that it is good; andthere is an evening, and there is amorning--day fourth. And God saith, `Let the waters teem with the teemingliving creature, and fowl let fly onthe earth on the face of the expanseof the heavens.' And God prepareththe great monsters, and every livingcreature that is creeping, which thewaters have teemed with, after theirkind, and every fowl with wing, afterits kind, and God seeth that it isgood. And God blesseth them, saying, `Be fruitful, and multiply, and fillthe waters in the seas, and the fowllet multiply in the earth: ' and thereis an evening, and there is amorning--day fifth. And God saith, `Let the earth bring forth the livingcreature after its kind, cattle andcreeping thing, and beast of theearth after its kind: ' and it is so.And God maketh the beast of the earthafter its kind, and the cattle aftertheir kind, and every creeping thingof the ground after its kind, and Godseeth that it is good. And God saith, `Let Us make man in Our image, 'according to Our likeness, and letthem rule over fish of the sea, andover fowl of the heavens, and overcattle, and over all the earth, andover every creeping thing that iscreeping on the earth.' And Godprepareth the man in His image; inthe image of God He prepared him, amale and a female He prepared them.And God blesseth them, and God saithto them, `Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over fish of the sea, andover fowl of the heavens, and overevery living thing that is creepingupon the earth.' And God saith, `Lo, I have given to you every herb sowingseed, which is upon the face of allthe earth, and every tree in whichis the fruit o
