Werden dann auch noch starke Worte gewählt und der Begriff "Angst" mit der Existenz der menschlichen Spezies in Verbindung gebracht, scheint die Richtung, in die sich eine Arbeit bewegt, vorgegeben Die vorliegende Arbeit, die sich mit den individuellen Herausforderungen der Digitalisierung für die Schule beschäftigt, soll sich jedoch dieser Konvention widersetzen. Individuelle Herausforderungen letztendlich immer Risiken und Chancen zugleich. Anstatt sich also auf bestimmte Ansichten zu versteifen, macht sie sich es zum Ziel verschiedenen Denkweisen offen zu begegnen und Raum zu geben. Die vorliegende Arbeit wird sich entsprechenden Fragestellungen im Hinblick auf den Sekundarunterricht annehmen. Dabei werden zunächst die zentralen verwendeten Begriffe genauer definiert: Was genau hat es mit der Generation Z auf sich? Welchen Zusammenhang gibt es zwischen dem Begriff Zappelphilipp und der ADHSDiagnose? Was ist unter den Medien zu verstehen und wo finden diese ihren Weg in den Schulunterricht? Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit richtet sich der Fokus endgültig auf den schulischen Kontext. Dazu soll zunächst der Status Quo der Verwendung digitaler Medien in der Schule beschrieben werden. Dabei soll die ICILS-Studie Aufschluss über den Stand der Kompetenz deutscher Schüler im Hinblick auf deren Mediennutzung geben. Im dritten und zentralen Teil der Arbeit sollen die individuellen Herausforderungen der verschiedenen Beteiligten aufgezeigt werden. Dabei soll schließlich darauf eingegangen werden, wie sie sich der Einsatz digitaler Medien auf das Schüler-, Lehrer-, sowie das Unterrichtsbild auswirken kann. Bei der Betrachtung der Schüler soll dabei auch eine ausgiebige kritische Auseinandersetzung mit potenziellen Auswirkungen der Digita
