Die Altersstruktur befindet sich im Wandel und auch die Ansprüche und Vorstellungen neuer Generationen von Arbeitnehmern gegenüber ihren Arbeitgebern verändern sich. Eine Generation, die dabei aktuell in den Fokus rückt, ist die Generation Z. Denn während Unternehmen sich häufig noch mit den Erwartungen der vorherigen Generation beschäftigen, steht die nachfolgende Generation Z bereits vor der Berufs- und Arbeitgeberwahl. Die neuen Arbeitnehmergenerationen werden in wenigen Jahren die Mehrheit des Arbeitsmarkts ausmachen und ihren Wertvorstellungen werden damit die zukünftige Arbeitswelt gestalten. Die Erforschung der neuen Generation Z ist deshalb von besonderer Aktualität und Interesse. Neben der Beschreibung ihrer Charakteristika und ihren Ansprüchen an ihren Arbeitgeber stellt sich unweigerlich die Frage nach Maßnahmen zur Rekrutierung dieser Generation. Unternehmen müssen sich zukünftig im "War for Talent" beweisen und proaktiv auf die potenziellen neuen Arbeitnehmer zugehen. Deshalb ist es besonders wichtig erfolgreiche Strategien und geeigneten Instrumenten zu haben, um neue Arbeitnehmer für sich zu begeistern. Eine Möglichkeit, die in Betracht gezogen werden kann, ist der immer häufiger fallende Begriff "Employer Branding". Um was es sich dabei handelt und ob dies eine geeignete Maßnahme zur Rekrutierung von der neuen Generation Z ist, soll deshalb untersucht werden. Die Forschungsfrage, nach den geeigneten Maßnahmen zur Bindung der Generation soll beantwortet und die Wichtigkeit herausgearbeitet werden.
