About the Book

THE GEMINI The Tenth Scroll The Zodiac Scrolls Series for Young Adults Escaping Atlantis wasn't going to be as easy as they thought. Earth, 2012: the Mayan calendar foretells of a cataclysmic event which will bring humanity to the brink of extinction. For sixteen year-old Genesis Brockman, it's just one more crappy year in a whole line of crappy years. He's trying to survive Middleburg High School, his dad's mysterious death, and his granddad's strict military rules until a little sky joyriding in his sister's Cessna plunges Gen and his best buddy through a portal in the Bermuda Triangle and into an underwater city. The Posideans claim to be descendants of Atlantis. Yeah, right. Gen and Carlos just pray they can get back home before they're sacrificed at the Pearl Harvest Festival, but hey, just try escaping with Megalodons (mammoth prehistoric sharks) stalking the out-waters. In Posidea, Sir Gallian, 16, inherited his father's throne when Sir Lord Dayer was mortally wounded battling an Aberrant (grotesque sea monster created from nuclear waste dumped in the oceans). Like all teens, Gallian just wants to be normal, cruising the in-waters with his plesiosaur and making out with his girlfriend, Oriana, but that rarely happens due to all his royal responsibilities. His clan's contempt for humans makes it mega hard for Gallian to uphold his dad's crusade to save them, especially with global warming threatening the ancient space portals. It's enough to give any teen an ulcer. Soon, Gallian must choose between his kingdom, his girlfriend, and even his life to save his twin while Gen will learn why he's always felt like an outsider and that his destiny was written among the stars eons before he was ever born. Now, the fate of mankind, indeed the very survival of the cosmos, depends upon these two teenagers. For they are the twins, the Gemini.
