Essay aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich Theologie - Systematische Theologie, Note: 2,0, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Evangelisch-Theologische Fakultät), Veranstaltung: Interdisziplinäres Hauptseminar: Hermeneutik des Alten Testaments (WiSe 2017/18), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im ersten Teil dieses Essays wird eingehend die Position Gräb-Schmidts zur Hermeneutik des Alten Testaments wiedergegeben, wobei im zweiten Teil auf die Auffassungen Huizings Bezug genommen wird. Zum Abschluss des Essays werden die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede der beiden Positionen herausgearbeitet, wobei in einem kurzen Fazit die Frage geklärt wird, inwieweit die beiden Ansätze für die hermeneutische Aufgabe fruchtbar gemacht werden können. Es wird letztendlich die entscheidende Frage gestellt, welchen Beitrag die Systematische Theologie überhaupt zu einer Hermeneutik des Alten Testaments leisten kann. Auf eine biographische Einführung wird indes aus Rücksichtnahme auf die inhaltliche Fokussierung dieses Essays verzichtet.
About the Author: Jan Mark Budde, geb. 30.12.1995 in Lübbecke, cand. theol., studiert Ev. Theologie mit dem Ziel des Pfarramts an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster. Als Zweithörer studierte er Evangelische Theologie an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum und der Christian Albrechts-Universität Kiel. Seine Forschungs- und Interessensschwerpunkte liegen vor allem im Bereich der Dogmen- und der Theologiegeschichte sowie der Dogmatik und der Religionsphilosophie. So interessiert er sich vor allem für die theologischen Entwürfe und Arbeiten von Adolf von Harnack, Ernst Troeltsch, Paul Tillich, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Wolfhart Pannenberg und Jürgen Moltmann, aber auch für das philosophische Werk von Martin Heidegger, Karl Jasper und Hannah Arendt. Im Januar 2017 trat Budde dem Münsterschen Wingolf, einer christlichen und nichtschlagenden Studentenverbindung in Münster bei (www.muensterscher-wingolf.de). Dieser übte seither großen Einfluss auf die Entwicklung des Protestantismus in der westfälischen Stadt Münster aus und brachte in der Vergangenheit zahlreiche namhafte Theologen hervor, die 1914 an der Gründung der Evangelisch-Theologischen Fakultät an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster maßgeblich beteiligt waren. Seit Januar 2020 ist er als studentische Hilfskraft am Seminar für Kirchengeschichte II (Reformation, Neuere und Neueste Kirchengeschichte) am Lehrstuhl für Systematische sowie Historische Theologie und ihre Didaktik bei Prof. Dr. theol. Konrad Hammann beschäftigt und unterstützt diesen bei Forschung und Lehre.
