Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 1,0, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Anstoß für die Themenwahl dieser Arbeit waren Aussagen meiner Lerngruppe, dass sie Gedichte "langweilig" finden. Einige Nachfragen ergaben, dass im Unterricht bisher kognitive Fähigkeiten, wie das Beantworten von Fragen zum Gedicht sowie das Auswendiglernen und Vortragen von Gedichten, im Vordergrund standen. Dies weckte Erinnerungen an meine eigene Schulzeit, die von einem analytisch orientierten Literaturunterricht geprägt waren, der häufig in einem fragend-entwickelnden Unterrichtsgespräch verlief. In solchen Stunden sind nur wenige Schüler aktiv beteiligt. Die anderen gelten schnell als uninteressiert, unbegabt, unkonzentriert und resignieren, obwohl sie einfach nicht genügend Zeit zur Gedankenentwicklung hatten, weil die vom Lehrer gestellte Frage bereits von einem schnelleren Schüler beantwortet wurde. Hinzu kommt, dass der Lehrer mit diesen Fragen häufig eine bestimmte Erkenntnisabsicht verfolgt, die wenig Spielraum für individuelle Denkwege zulässt. Aber gerade Gedichte erfordern von ihrer Anlage her eine vertiefte, individuelle Auseinandersetzung, um eine persönliche Beziehung herstellen und dadurch Freude empfinden zu können. Den Schülern das zu ermöglichen, stellt eine Aufgabe des Unterrichts dar. Durch einen veränderten Umgang mit Gedichten kann das erreicht werden. So stellt meines Erachtens ein handlungs- und produktionsorientierter Unterricht eine Möglichkeit dar, sich den genannten Aspekten zu nähern. Ein solcher Unterricht wird nicht ausschließlich analytisch begabten Kindern gerecht, sondern möchte unterschiedliche Begabungstypen durch aktives Handeln im Umgang mit Gedichten ansprechen. Ferner soll eine tragfähige Lesemotivation ausgebildet werden, auf deren Grundlage, insbesondere in späteren Schuljahren, sinnvolle analytisch-intellektuelle Aktivitäten erfolgen können (vgl.
