About the Book

In our modern, busy lives, do we feel overwhelmed, distracted, or a loss of a sense of meaning? How then shall we talk to our children and teenagers about values? Take a walk down the metaphorical garden path, and guide our children to reflect on our beliefs and choose excellent values. As a practical guide for families and educators, this book shares a refreshing way to build a desired culture. Beyond focusing largely on academic results and short-term goals, this is a story of what is possible for families to aspire towards: meaning and bonding through carefully chosen values. This is the family's first book after three circuitous years of experimentation. It is a testament as to how families can combine the parents' and children's disparate strengths to complete something truly meaningful. A pleasant surprise awaits us when the transformation happens to our lives and our relationships!
