Ludologische, ikonische und performative Aspekte von Computerspielen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Um dem Überangebot auf dem Liebesmarkt gerecht zu werden und den Konsum der Liebe zu vereinfachen und zu kontrollieren, etablieren sich immer mehr Datingapps. Durch das Überangebot auf dem Liebesmarkt werden die Optionen zwar mehr, die Suche aber dadurch auch immer schwieriger, da man aus einem riesigen Pool an potentiellen Partnern wählen kann. Datingapps bedienen sich zur Lösung dieses Problems unter anderem auch an Elementen von Spielen, die mit diesem eigentlich spielfremden Bereich des Datings verknüpft werden. Es kommt zur sogenannten Gamification des Liebesmarktes. Bei Tinder geht es hauptsächlich um das Sammeln von sogenannten Matches. Ein Match hat man dann, wenn man einen Partnervorschlag mit "gefällt mir" markiert hat und derjenige es einem gleichgetan hat. Es kommt zu einem Match und der Chat ist frei geschaltet. Durch die Fülle an Partnervorschlägen und die schnelle Aussortierung von gefallenden und nicht gefallenden Profilen geht es ab einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt nicht mehr unmittelbar darum, sich gewissenhaft einen entsprechenden Partnervorschlag anzuschauen - der User sammelt stattdessen so viele Matches wie möglich. Durch die Bestätigung und Erfolgserlebnisse, die man durch die Matches bekommt, bergen solche Datingapps ein genau so hohes Suchtpotenzial, genau wie klassische Computerspiele. Auch die Aufmachung erinnert eher an eine Gamingapp als an eine Datingapp - wischt man nach links ist es ein Nein, wischt man nach rechts ist es ein Ja. Ein Ende hat dieses Spiel nicht und so wächst das Bedürfnis nach dem Konsum von Erfolgserlebnissen und Bestätigung des anderen Geschlechts durch die Datingapp immer weiter.
