Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Arbeit, Ausbildung, Organisation, Note: 1,0, Universität Trier, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Thema dieser Hausarbeit ist der momentane Strukturwandel in der Arbeitswelt. Aufgrund der stark verschärften Wettbewerbsbedingungen sehen sich viele Unternehmen zunehmend dazu gezwungen, die Kosten zu reduzieren und die Produktivität zu steigern. Diese betrieblichen Reorganisationsprozesse verlangen einerseits eine Veränderung in der Einstellung des Arbeitnehmers, andererseits in der betrieblichen Organisation. Diese zeichnen sich hauptsächlich in Lockerungen der betrieblichen Strukturvorgaben ab (vgl. Voß 1998, S. 474). 1998 wurde von den Soziologen Hans J. Pongratz und G. Günter Voß ein Konzept entwickelt, das die Zukunft in der Selbstorganisation der Arbeitskraft sieht. Diesen veränderten Typus von Arbeitskraft nannten sie "Arbeitskraftunternehmer". Im Rahmen dieses Wandels soll der Arbeitnehmer selbstständiger werden und zunehmend als "Unternehmer seiner selbst" agieren. Ihm werden große Freiräume im Bezug auf die Arbeitsgestaltung eingeräumt (vgl. Voß/Pongratz 1998, S. 133). Durch diese gestiegene Eigenverantwortung wird der Kontrollaufwand reduziert wodurch auch Kosten eingespart werden. Dazu soll der Fokus der Lebensplanung wieder hauptsächlich auf die Erwerbstätigkeit ausgerichtet sein (vgl. ebd., S. 133). Flexibilität wird dabei zu einem wichtigen Kriterium für den beruflichen Erfolg des Einzelnen. In diesem Zusammenhang wird auch von einer Entgrenzung von Arbeit und Leben gesprochen. Damit ist gemeint, dass diese beiden Bereiche nicht mehr voneinander zu trennen sind, sonder miteinander verschmelzen. Die folgende Bearbeitung des Themas wird hauptsächlich aus der Perspektive des Arbeitnehmers erfolgen, wobei die betriebliche Perspektive nicht außer Acht bleibt. Es handelt es sich um eine Prognose, die aber kaum auf empirischen Untersuchungen basiert. Deshalb kann nur schwer vorausgesagt werden wie weit
