About the Book

Tough times don't last. Tough parents do. How do you, as a parent, respond to God and the people around you when you suddenly discover that your 70-day old baby suffers from a congenital medical condition? Where do you turn for wisdom, strength, guidance and the hope to go on, in the face of so many unanswered questions and the days of darkness that seem to go on forever? What actions do you take to find your way through the uncertain tunnel of life, grasping to see if there is light on the other side? In this book you'll discover how to Be open and transparent toward God about the challenges you and your family are facing Be humble in relating to your family, friends, colleagues, and others around you Be sensitive to others facing similar challenges Be mindful that God is a caring and compassionate Father, regardless of our circumstances If you are a parent or grandparent facing these challenges, know that you are not alone...and this book is for you.
About the Author: Moses Wong graduated with a second class honours degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 1994. However, instead of practicing as an engineer, he went to serve in a not-for-profit organisation called Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ (now known as Cru Singapore) because of his passion to create a positive influence among the youth. Throughout his sixteen years with SCCC (1994 to 2010), he served in several capacities such as team leader, prayer coordinator, and HR Manager, overseeing staff development. Because of his great love for God and His people, he pursued a double Masters, a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Counselling and a Masters of Divinity with East Asia School of Theology, where he was awarded the Best Academic Award. Currently, he is Managing Director of Journey With U Pte Ltd, an organisation that is dedicated to journeying with parents with challenged kids. This organisation was birthed by his deep desire to share the message of hope and love with parents after his three years of 'hell' with his third daughter, Ariel who was suffering from a terminal liver disease. A sought-after family life educator whose programmes are pre-approved by the Ministry of Social and Family Development for funding, he has spoken to thousands of parents at different schools throughout Singapore. He can be contacted at Moses@journeywithu.com
