About the Book

NOTE: This is the primary book that forms the basis of a unique FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITY. It can be highly customized to suit the special needs of various community organizations. From HONORABLE To INVINCIBLE is a Commemorative Book dedicated to "THE UNIVERSAL SOLDIER" in all kinds of uniforms, and serves as a FUNDRAISER for groups such as the Military, Pastors, Police and also for Veterans, Memorial and Remembrance Day celebrations. It features "The Apology of April Fool's Day", an exceptional reading experience of a personal battle against unrelenting forces. It shows how the modern day life experience of an author progressively interprets ancient truth, and accurately translates or paraphrases the "Wisdom of the Ancients." Besides the literary, on another level perhaps more mystical, the work also reflects an experience of transformation and transcendence. This Commemorative Booklet applies to multitudes of "UNIVERSAL SOLDIERS" of great service irrespective of country or color. He (and she) fights for the USA, fights for Canada, fights for the Brits, and on goes the battles of one kind or another. And there are more prayerful warriors in different uniforms with various vestments and clerical collars. They are marching on as to war -- fighting in the front lines of spiritual battles -- feeding the hungry, nursing the sick, healing the wounded and burying the dead. But knowing the greatest INVINCIBLE soldier of all rose from the dead, and brings ever-lasting life. And still there are even more who do not wear a soldier's uniform, but also represent a divine struggle, people of faith who work hard, persevere, serve and sacrifice for a cause they believe in, and often much greater than themselves. One only needs to look at the likes of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as just this last example. Indeed, there are many. From HONORABLE To INVINCIBLE is not an ordinary Fundraiser. It is one of a kind that retains its value as "a classical work of art" and as a meaningful keepsake, honoring those who faithfully serve and sacrifice. About the Author: Lorne Glowicki is a seasoned writer with a wealth of experience, both street-wise and life-wise. He is a former police officer, police reporter, and protective services officer, all of which has provided a fertile background for his writings. He has served on many battlefields of one kind or another -- in an officer's uniform and in civilian dress. He is no stranger to gut-wrenching conflicts, and knows the meaning of personal sacrifice. After his career in law enforcement, he formed Pyramid Agencies, an advertising specialties company. Later he invested in Applied Cybernetics Ltd. and became the Vice-president of Sales and Marketing. After selling his business interests, he continued to work for several years as a District Deputy for a prominent international fraternal insurance agency. Throughout his varied life experience, Glowicki has kept his notebook close to his heart. He has filed away volumes of real life stories, told with depth, sensitivity and his unique point of view. Lorne Glowicki resides in his home town of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and continues to live in the North End, a part of the city which has helped to form his well-earned wisdom, strong character and resilient spirit.
