About the Author: Anne Martine Pierre-Pierre, PhD, LCSW, spent more than twenty years in social work practice. And spent seventeen of those years dedicated to field education. She began her journey into field as a field instructor and eventually became director of field education. She has won several awards for student and faculty engagement.
Pierre-Pierre received her master's degree in social work from Florida State University and her doctorate in social work from the University of Texas at Austin. She has a degree in biology from Florida A&M University and a degree in sociology from the University of Ottawa. She is clinically licensed to practice social work in Georgia and Florida.
Pierre-Pierre lives in New England. She is the proud mother of two children. Her son, Edmond, studies theater at York University. Her daughter, Isabelle, is about to complete high school and aspires to study in South Korea.
