At the age of 86, Katie acquired her first laptop computer and learned how to use the Internet.
Katie has always been a great storyteller and has told her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren many, many stories over the years.
So now at the age of 88 and at the prompting of family members, she has begun to put her stories into childrens books.
Most of the stories Katie tells are real-life experiences, although some have been embellished...just a little.
