About the Book

In 2008, the United States suffered a catastrophic meltdown of our economy. This was the result of a collapse of leveraged real estate financing of home mortgages. This was due to low interest rates set by the Federal Reserve and large financial organizations using leverage to multiply their investments. Rapidly rising unemployment, a massive number of home foreclosures, near collapse of the banking and investment sectors - all of these and more contributed to one of the bleakest economic times since the Great Depression. According to Jack Reinhard, we must give full and complete credit for this epic disaster to the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve printed unlimited amounts of currency to fund several economic bubbles, including the one that burst in 2008. Congress used the high fund levels to relax home lending requirements to allow almost anyone to purchase homes. People took advantage of low interest rates and minimal credit requirements to create a home building bubble. Congress also used the abundant fund levels to increase entitlements and the country's budget deficit. To create an environment that prevents this from happening again, free and independent people must help reduce the Federal Reserve's power. We must regain control by finding and supporting responsible government leaders. How can this be done? The answers are within these pages. Reinhard presents a new way of looking at how people and their government should work. Although new to recent thinking, much of the thoughts are similar to those of individual citizens in early America and the first centuries of the country's past. "Freedom and Happiness, A Philosophy for All" provides concrete steps and strategies to create, gain, and otherwise master the concepts of this new method of thinking. Breaking down his steps into the environments of religious/spiritual, political/governmental, legal/judicial, business/market, social, and mental/emotional, he provides the information necessary to revolutionize every aspect of your life. Reinhard's method provides individuals descriptions of the environments; how to cope with them; how to improve on them; and finally the strategies to obtain the most progressive goals for them. The new freedom and happiness philosophy is applied to the above common environments to improve the quality of life in a very accessible and readily apparent implementation style. Inspirational and brimming with optimism, his how-to guide for filling your life with freedom and happiness leads us to a new era of personal responsibility and improved circumstances. An overriding concern for the world in which his children and grandchildren will live drove Jack Reinhard to write this book. He wants them to live happily in environments that will allow them to achieve their maximum potential. He hopes that they will also cooperate with their fellow free individuals to achieve the maximum potential of the country in which they live. His positive approach, affecting change rather than pointing out flaws, is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise critical atmosphere of blame and finger-pointing. Full of enthusiasm and confidence, this primer on improving the consciousness and purpose of our selves and those we come in contact with is a message of kindness-one sorely needed right now. A beacon of hope in a time of trouble, Freedom and Happiness: A Philosophy for All is a harbinger of a better tomorrow.
