Avec maestria, Angulo brouille les frontières entre réalité et surnaturel, distillant le mystère jusqu'au dénouement final. On pense bien sûr aux romans de Stefan Zweig ou Mircea Eliade pour l'atmosphère fantastique teintée d'ésotérisme.
