Viele Unternehmen kennen nicht das Maß der Zufriedenheit, wissen nicht wie es diese zu messen gilt bzw. verkennen sogar die Wichtigkeit dieses Themas. Dabei konnte mehrfach nachgewiesen werden, "dass die Zufriedenheit eine wichtige Einflussgröße des Kundenverhaltens darstellt"1 und die Kundenzufriedenheit als "Bindeglied zwischen den Aktivitäten eines Unternehmens und den Verhaltensweisen der Kunden"2 gilt. Somit wird deutlich, dass die Zufriedenheit des Kunden existentiell wichtig für jedes einzelne Unternehmen ist und dies auf keinen Fall verkannt werden darf. Es soll für jedes Unternehmen gelten, möglichst viel in die Kundenzufriedenheit zu investieren, da "durch zufriedenere Kunden der Erfolg des Unternehmens langfristig gesichert werden kann".3 Ein möglicher Weg in der Marktforschung zur Ermittlung der Kundenzufriedenheit und im folgenden nächsten Schritt das Verbessern dieser, ist die Befragung der Kunden mittels eines Fragebogens. In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll verdeutlicht werden, wie wirkungsvoll dieses Mittel ist, welche Vor- und Nachteile es in sich birgt und hauptsächlich welchen Anforderungen es genügen muss, um auch tatsächlich die Kundenzufriedenheit festzustellen.
