Until Thad appears, Cassie is closed off from the world, never letting anyone see the true contents of her heart. But from the moment they meet, it's clear that Cassie and Thad's love is meant to be. The young couple begin a happy life together, looking forward to everything the future will bring. But when that future is tragically cut short, Cassie is left reeling, convinced her broken heart can never be whole again.
Now, in spite of the years that have passed, Cassie still feels the intense pain of what she's lost-but by picking up her paintbrush in moments of grief, she has managed to find some success in the art world.
Through life-altering changes, tough decisions, and finding the type of loving family bond she never thought possible, she finally feels her life is moving in the right direction-but at the same time, a series of mysterious events has her questioning everything she thought she knew.
