Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Führung und Personal - Sonstiges, Note: 2,0, Universität Trier (Lehrstuhl Services-Administration-Management), Veranstaltung: Comparative Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: China hat mit einer Bevölkerung von 1,3 Mrd Menschen, von der ca. 600 Mio im erwerbsfähigen Alter sind, das größte Arbeitskräftereservoir der Welt. Dabei ist die Altersstruktur relativ jung. Doch dieses schier unerschöpflich wirkende Potential hat seine Schwachstellen. Besonders die Qualifikation der Arbeitskräfte lässt zu wünschen übrig. Große Teile der Landbevölkerung strömt als nahezu gänzlich ungebildete Arbeitskräfte in die Ballungszentren. Fachkräfte hingegen sind rar und daher sehr umworben. Die durchschnittliche Fluktuationsrate in Shanghai im Jahre 2006 betrug 14.7%, bei hochqualifizierten Angestellten sogar 18.5%. Trotz hoher Risiken und im Vergleich zu den Investitionen bisher recht kleinen Erfolgen, wollen die meisten Firmen am Standort China bleiben. Gelänge es die Risiken der unkontrolliert dynamischen Personalkosten unter Kontrolle zu bringen, welche u.a. durch Fluktuation verursacht werden, so bedeutete dies eine wesentliche Verbesserung der Investitionssicherheit. Somit gilt Fluktuation zur Zeit als eine der großen Herausforderungen des Personalmanagements in China. Eine hohe Fluktuationsquote kann Indikator dafür sein, dass Mitarbeiter versuchen ein passenderes Umfeld zu finden. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich daher mit der Frage, welche Anreize in China personalpolitisch sinnvoll sind, um Fachkräfte nachhaltig an Unternehmen zu binden. Hierzu werden als Grundlage zunächst allgemeine Fluktuationsgründe, Motivationstheorien und Anreizmechanismen behandelt. Nach einer Darstellung wichtiger Faktoren des gesellschaftlichen Kontextes der VR China, werden, auf diesen aufbauend, kulturspezifisch wirksame Anreize sowie Fluktuationsgründe diskutiert und abschließend Handlungsempfehlungen
