Der Autor schafft es spielend eine Spannung aufzubauen, die sich bis zur letzten Seite durchzieht. Connection, der Verlag für's Wesentliche: Schamanische Geistreisen, Seelenrückholung, Anderswelten ... die schamanischen Techniken erzählt dieser Roman detailliert, lebhaft und kenntnisreich. Nicht nur das, auch die alpine Umgebung, die Eigenheiten der Dorfbewohner, die Landschaften, das Innenleben der Charaktere - alles ist so lebhaft, detailverliebt und intensiv geschildert, dass man das Gefühl hat, mittendrin zu sein. Ein spannender, mitreißender Roman, der nebenbei noch ein Lehrstück zum Schamanismus sein kann. Besser geht's kaum. About the Author: Christian Friedrich Brunner beschäftigt sich seit über 30 Jahren mit dem Schamanentum und wendet die damit verbundenen Heilmethoden seit fast 20 Jahren auch praktisch an. Als gebürtiger Österreicher, aber derzeit wohnhaft in den USA, konzentriert er sich seit Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts in seiner schamanischen Arbeit und in seiner literarischen Tätigkeit auf die Erforschung der europäischen Ausformung des Schamanentums vor der Christianisierung des Kontinents. In diesem Zusammenhang trat er dem "Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids" in England bei und schreibt seit dem Beginn seiner Ausbildung zum Druiden auch Artikel im "Touchstone", dem monatlichen Newsletter dieser Organisation. 2007 erschien Christian Brunners erster Roman "Fliegenpilz", eine moderne schamanische Erzählung über die Reise eines jungen Mannes vom Krankenbett zu seiner schamanischen Initiation.
