How are graphomotor skills acquired?

When we talk about the tools that will be used to develop and perfect hand and finger movements, we begin with the manipulation of "thicker" objects such as sponges, chalk or thick brushes to progressively move to waxes, markers ... and finally to pencils which are the finest tools.
In graphomotricity, movement exercises are also important, thus enhancing the correct displacement in the graphic space: strokes from left to right, from top to bottom ... this simplicity will evolve to oblique paths, loops and so on until it acquires the more complex motor image of the letters and, later, the words.
