About the Book

Two lifelong poets, sisters, and best friends have fused together to bring you a variety of poems designed to melt the heart and inspire the soul. Separated for a time and coming back together stronger than ever they proudly present, "Fire and Water." The poems touch upon the earthly and otherworldly cares, delving into the complexities of the soul through the various trials faced through love, heartache, and everything in between. Join them on their journey through the dark and into the light. Travel with them through the gauntlet of poetic life with its obstacles at every turn. Each challenge they faced, however, paved the way for them to step forward with fierce determination and ever present love. Their poetry is mostly free-verse, but touch upon various forms such as the Kyrielle, Harrishma Rhyme, the Italian Sonnet, Etheree, and Twin Etheree.
About the Author: Julie Stanley's dream of breaking into print happened when she entered a poetry contest nearly twenty years ago where she earned recognition with an Honorable Mention. Since then, her passion for writing became the driving force of subsequent recognition as she went on to win Presidential Awards for Literary Excellence and five honorable mentions. During subsequent years, she furthered the development of her writing by working with ESL writers for an online content writing firm in Pakistan. She has published over forty articles and poems, tutored nearly 30 individuals in English and creative writing, completed her first novel 'Faces in Still Waters' with an expected publication date of sometime in July 2013. She is also working on two other books at this time including a book of her epic-length poetry and prose, 'Irony, Karma and Fate Walk into a Bar...' She is the founder and CEO of Writerz Block, a budding editing service and is the Development and Marketing Director for Miracle E-zine. She spends her off-time encouraging her children to think creatively and continues her adventures in writing on a daily basis. She is also completing the last year of her BA in English and Communications through the University of Phoenix. She thanks the millions of coffee beans who willingly sacrificed their existence for all of her creative and domestic endeavors. Stanley: https: //www.facebook.com/JVStanley.editor.author.poet?fref=ts Aramey is an outgoing individual who enjoys all things in nature, traveling, and curling up with a good book. She began her first novel at 16 years old, making up her own little world. She loved it so much that she decided to turn it into her profession. She's currently studying at the University of Phoenix online while wrangling her children. Yet, she still finds the time to write and read as it is her passion and calling. Finding beauty in the little things, like catching a glimpse of a hummingbird that pauses long enough for her to admire, or the colors and scents while walking in a garden. She considers herself an old soul who still has so much to learn and everything to appreciate. Andreas Writing Hub: https: //www.facebook.com/AndreasWritingHub?fref=ts
