"Why have you shown me nearly every room in the house except that one?" she said pointing to a set of dark double doors at the very end of the hallway. "You didn't take me in there."
"No, and I won't, not for a while," he replied, gently setting her down in the bedroom.
"Why not?"
"It's not the proper time," he answered evasively.
"When will it be? Now I'm curious."
"Don't let it get the better of you," he warned. "You are not to go in those rooms without my express permission."
"I don't understand."
"Trisha, when you go through those doors your life will never be the same again."
