Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Filmwissenschaft, Note: 1,0, Universität Bremen (Fachbereich 10), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Frage, der ich in dieser Arbeit nachgehen möchte, lautet: Welche Transkulturationsmuster liegen dem Cinéma beur, welche dem deutsch-türkischen Kino zugrunde und worin unterscheiden sich jeweils die Strategien des "filming back"? Wie ordnet man einen Film ein, dessen Regisseur in Hamburg geboren ist, einen türkischen Migrationshintergrund hat und dessen Film in deutscher Sprache gedreht und dessen Handlung in Hamburg und Istanbul spielt? Ähnlich schwer fällt es uns bei den französischen Filmbeispielen. Eine eindeutige kulturelle oder nationale Zuordnung der Filme, die die heutige Verfasstheit von Kultur abbilden, ist scheinbar nicht mehr möglich. So, wie die Kulturen sich durch die Migration und kulturelle Verschmelzung transformiert haben, bringen sie auch neue Themen und Ästhetiken der Transkulturalität im Film hervor. Man spricht daher von einem transnationalen Kino oder einem Cinéma du métissage. In Frankreich und Deutschland haben sich das Cinéma beur und das deutsch-türkische Kino herausgebildet, die beide seit ihren Anfängen großen Einfluss auf die Wahrnehmung der Migranten in den jeweiligen Ländern nehmen und das "nationale" Kino nachhaltig prägen. Ihren Filmen gemeinsam ist, dass die Protagonisten Grenzen überschreiten und ihre Leben von der Durchdringung mindestens zweier Kulturen geprägt sind. Außerdem sind die Regisseure in den meisten Fällen selbst Produkte kultureller Vermischung, denn es handelt sich in beiden Fällen um Filmschaffende, die der 2. Generation der Immigration angehören. Dies führt zu der Frage, wie sich die Repräsentationsweise von Migration verändert, wenn man es, wie im Falle des Cinéma beur und des deutsch-türkischen Kinos, mit Regisseuren zu tun hat, die selbst keine Migrationserfahrungen haben beziehungsweise in frühester Kindheit umgesiedelt und daher transkulturell geprägt sind
