Set sail for a coloring adventure with Fiji the sailing kitty!
The story and coloring pages are based on a true story about Fiji, a cat who sailed on the Barque Picton Castle on the Great Lakes to a tall ships festival in Erie, Pennsylvania.
There are 48 coloring pages total, 2 copies each of 24 different illustrations, as well as a bonus coloring page and coloring content on other pages.
There are a variety of kitty poses and styles, allowing colorists to color Fiji as she looks or like a favorite kitty they know. There is the Picton Castle and the U.S. Brig Niagara, as well as a few smaller ships on Lake Erie and the Bay of Erie, PA. There is the North Pier Light, some gulls and wildlife, Presque Isle, buildings and more. A preview of all images can be found in the book as well as Lisa's website.
The story is told in poetic lyrics to accompany the coloring pages, without covering the illustration, as well as a full text version by itself.
Time to break out the pencils, relax, and read about Fiji's little adventure on her journey .
This coloring collection, as with all of Lisa's coloring books, is available in two book editions. A Left-handed Edition features the coloring pages on the left page when the book is opened to two pages. A Right-handed Edition features coloring pages on odd pages, or the right page when the book is open. These options allow the colorist to choose whichever edition allows the coloring hand freedom of movement the best. The coloring pages themselves are the same illustrations for both books.
Happy Reading and Coloring!
