Discrimination and sexual harassment are nearly universal
problems that transcend national boundaries for women in
police work and that there are a handful of typical coping
strategies that also appear to be widely used across
nationality. Feminism always articulated women's rights,
always argued that women speak in a "different voice" than
men; have different "ways of knowing" than men; and if
given power would order the world more humanely than
men. Some believed that the hierarchical dichotomies
should be replaced by application of diversity.

Feminism is the emergence of feminist ideas and feminist politics is
dependent on the understandings that in all societies which divided the sexes into
different cultural, economic or political sphere women have been and are less
valued than men. Feminism believed that through their expression of thoughts
women can consciously and collectively change their social place. Their motto is
to eradicate sexist domination and to transform society.
Feminist movement calls attention to the exploitation and oppression of
women globally. The term "Patriarchal" refers to the power relation in which
women's interests are subordinated to the interests of men. Patriarchal power rests.
