This collection of poems tugs at the heartstrings, following the trajectory of relationships, interspersed with observations about the nature of things, Yousefi's history with sex, death, and his own upbringing, as well as occasional humor used to break literary tension and cope with personal issues.
Auseel Yousefi's vivid writing style and elaborate metaphors bring about intense positive and negative emotions for the sake of the readers' emotional understanding, even when the feelings described are foreign. It's safe to say that certain poems are not for the faint of heart, however therapeutic they may be.
- Auseel Yousefi, "The New York Tims"
If you buy this book, you won't regret it.
Or you will if you end up hating it.
There are better books. There are also worse books. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban? Better, by and far. It's also cheaper. What are you still doing here?
But it's still a pretty good book.
- Auseel S. Yousefi, "The Puffington Host"
If heavy day-drinking, sex appeal, and daddy issues had a baby, and then that baby grew up and had a kid with a much more emotionally stable and well adjusted, beautiful woman from West Tennessee, this book would be that kid.
- A. S. Yousefi, "The Wall Street Urinal"
This book is absolute garbage. Personally, I love garbage. Would recommend to fellow garbage enthusiasts.
- A. Sharef Yousefi, "The Washington Posed"
About the Author: Auseel Yousefi, a native of Huntsville, Alabama, is an Arab-American author of titles such as "feelings," "feelings," and his one-hit wonder, "feelings." Held in high regard within the Yousefi community as well as by his pets, his success is comparable to that of his neighbor, Rajeev, who finally took that step and bought the pressure cooker he kept talking about, or a person who self-published a book, which is a lot of people.
Yousefi is better known for his 2013 expulsion, commitment issues, not going out as often as he says he will, having a lot of feelings, and use of humor to deflect from serious personal issues.
