Have you ever longed for someone to guide you through those unforeseeable challenges of your life? Have you ever felt completely alone? Have you ever felt like you were looking at your life unfold before you, but lacked the ability to take control it's direction? Has your life seemed like you were sailing along the peaceful shore, and over night you were drifting out to a turbulent and uncontrollable sea of misery, pain, and disgust? I can image. Well, actually, I don't have to imagine how disempowering and unfulfilled a life drifting aimlessly can feel. I've lived a life that was spiraling out of control. I know how its like to feel helpless and alone, misguided and stressed. It wasn't until I discovered that I needed to take control of the reigns, and turn my life into a completely different and purposeful driven direction. I had to take responsibility for where I was, and more so I had to discover how I got there. I had to be willing to face some hard and repressed truths about myself, my beliefs, and my perspective. When I decided that I would do the work to make the rest of my life barely recognizable I began to feel more alive than I ever had. I also, learned that I had a great deal of work ahead of me as well. When I weighed the my options of remaining stagnant or moving forward with my truth; the odds fell heavily in favor of learning and taking responsibility for my truth. I had to undergo a series of step to become the greatest and highest expression of myself. That commitment was followed by sacrifice, challenging decisions, forgiveness, hurt, utter responsibility, and love.When we really decide to be honest with ourselves and take responsibility for how we impact the world; it is incredible the number of things that we learn about our selves that we have no clue about why we behave, think, or respond the way that we do. Much of our behavior is through an inheritance of conditioning. There are times when we want to blame someone else for our misfortune or for the negative ways we respond. But in all honesty, how we interact with the world is solely up to us. Our series of decisions is what has always shaped our individual world. Regardless of whether our decisions are those of commission or omission we are still making an impact.Fatherless Child expresses some of the deep rooted beliefs that are held in the inner child of a young girl who finally discovers in her later years of woman hood that the decision that her father made when she was younger were not her own. And as a result she had to give her self permission to release him by forgiving him and moving forward in her life with love and purpose.
