Her father is constantly looking for jobs and her mother is semi-alcoholic; then she has to look after the house and her siblings, including her older brother, that does nothing but laze.
Whoopy's great passion is fashion: she likes to design clothes, and she is good at it, but how can she even think of making a career out of it with all the problems that she has to face every day?
It's hard to follow your dreams ... and Whoopy knows it very well.
At school the situation is not much better: for some time, she has been bullied by Candice, one of the most beautiful, rich and popular girls in the school, and her friends.
One day, after another brutal joke by Candice, Marlene, Whoopy's professor, decides to intervene, sending both girls to the presidency. Whoopy will help Candice recover from her many shortcomings by going to her house every day to study together, so that the two girls can get to better know each other.
At first Candice locks herself in her bedroom all afternoon while Whoopy is forced to do all the homework.
But one day, Candice reveals to Whoopy what she does all the time: through his mobile phone she enters a virtual world, TelloWorld, inhabited only by boys and girls of their age, eachones with his own Tello or Tella, a cyber boy or girl who appears from the phone screen to lead them into this parallel reality.
