About the Book

LARGE TEXT EDITION

FAITH, encourages you to take an honest look at yourself and the world around you.

Ana Maria calls upon humanity to embrace the notion of change. She asks us to let go of the stories that belong to the past and open ourselves up to a brighter and more hopeful future... If not for ourselves, then for the children of the world.

Excerpt from Preface:

A meandering waltz through time and space, we begin to pick apart what it means to be human. We dissect and decode the ways in which we are programmed to present as this individual self and are asked to embrace the notion of change. In ignorance we dwell no longer, as we learn to harness the Revolution of Knowledge that we find ourselves experiencing as a species. If new and different call you forth into the unknown, then I invite you to join me in untangling yourself from the world, as it seems timely for the human collective to slowly begin defining exactly what it is that we are, and to start admitting more to the truth of ourselves. It is time for a wake-up call and what better alarm bell to ring than that of reality?

Our species is made up of stories, we are defined as well as contained by them, and somewhat scared of letting them go. Our identities are entangled by what we think we know, so really, what we are scared of is a loss of our egoic selves, not the silly and often harmful stories that we cling to. Herein, we slowly uncover the truth of who you are and who there is still a chance to become. I do not talk here about improving yourself, much better to accept yourself and embrace the full, whole and colourful human that you were born to be. We must stop living in fear of our own humanness, we must stop smothering the truth of ourselves in shame and denial if we are to move forwards as a humanity. We are all a bit fudged up, can we just let that be okay now?

It is the wellness of our children that concerns me the most, what their futures look like, what their prospects are for a happy life lived well and expansively. With a matrix of information available at the touch of a fingertip, it is time to start discerning the truth from the lies if our children are to have any chance at surviving this mad house they are soon to inherit. I spent a long time delving into the past to make way for a better future for myself, and now I'd like to share what I found with the rest of the world... FAITH.

Excerpt from poem titled, Don't Be Scared:

Don't be scared dear ones,

Welcome the thought of change.

Open up your minds and hearts,

To the idea of a New Age.

It is with children in mind that I speak,

With their health and wellbeing at heart.

In light of how disconnected we've come to be,

How far from the truth we're seemingly apart.

There is no answer I can provide,

To ease your discomfort, sorrow or pain.

There is no trick, no miracle pill,

Nothing to justify, reason or name.

I have no god to offer you,

No deity in your faith to place.

I simply offer a mirror,

To look in and see your own grace.

The world presents our reflection,

It tells us every lie we ever believed.

And I found the only point to place my faith,

Was toward the light that I found within me.

The very same light exists,

In all of us, it's true.

But what prevents us from seeing it,

Except the illusions they've sold to you?
