About the Book

We learn from the life of Abraham that faith in GOD trusts and values truth. It is loyal and saves, influences, instructs, guides, believes, ultimately manifests, and attracts after its own kind. Yet this faith can be vulnerable and fail, but in the end, it helps us to endure much and prosper, it opens new doors; serves us and blesses us. It lives. This book will help you understand and give you hope in the depth and breadth of Abraham's faith in GOD's promises. It will teach you that you too, by faith - like Abraham, will achieve the GOD ordained Purpose for your life! In this book you will learn how a young Abraham, having escaped from King Nimrod, lived with Noah and his son Shem. Noah, the same Ark builder who had lived through the evil days that led GOD to destroy the world through the great flood. This Noah knew the depravity that separated man from GOD, and the righteousness that restored man's relationship with GOD. Noah, son of Lamech, was ten generations removed from the original man, Adam. The book will posit that Noah taught Abraham all he had also been taught about the true nature of GOD by his father Lamech - who most certainly had met the first man Adam, his ancestor nine generations removed, who died when Lamech was fifty-six years old.

The book therefore proposes that Abraham learnt about GOD, his nature, and the pain of disobedience to God from Noah, whose father had heard a first-hand account directly from the first man Adam. You will also learn the reason why Jacob, the younger twin of Esau, became the heir of the Covenant promise instead of Esau. Spoiler Alert: it was not because Rebekah favoured Jacob. The book argues that because Jacob, the homely twin of the 'wild' Esau spent time with his grandfather Abraham, he learnt about life and about GOD first-hand from this friend of GOD - the receiver and keeper of the Covenant promise. We make this bold claim confidently because we know that Abraham was one hundred and seventy-five years old when he died, and the twins were fifteen years old. Why? How? Isaac was sixty years old and Abraham one hundred and sixty years old when they were born. Therefore, they lived for fifteen years before Abraham died, and we can discern that the Covenant keeper taught the housebound Jacob all he knew about GOD, from personal experience and from what had been imparted to him by Noah and Shem.

You will also learn in this book why Isaac was willing to allow his father Abraham to 'sacrifice' or raise him up before the living GOD. He was not a helpless boy as some believe. He was already a grown man of thirty-nine years. So why did he not fight his aging father? Why did he willingly allow himself to be bound up for sacrifice? His faith in the God of his father!!You will see that like the Abraham of old, a man with remarkable hospitality, gentleness and kindness - and a love for his fellow man - many of the modern day avatars who continue to shape the world for the better have thrown themselves into causes that seek to perfect GOD's world through philanthropy and other acts, because they believe deeply and know that the suffering of one soul somewhere is the suffering of all souls everywhere.

Finally, you will learn that the true worship of the Living GOD is doing good to his other children - not prayer or sacrifice. You will see that God not only approves of this, but encourages it as evidenced by when Abraham literally kept GOD waiting to take care of the three strangers who appeared near his tent in the desert in Mamre. You will see from the account how, although Abraham was talking to God at the time the three strangers appeared, he immediately asked GOD to "wait" whilst he went to attend to the strangers. The Faith of Abraham will teach you what the servants of GOD have known since time immemorial - the full blessings of GOD are unlocked when we are willing to walk by Faith and not by Sight - trusting fully in GOD's promises!
