Für die Zuverlässigkeitsabsicherung von Kraftfahrzeugkomponenten werden in der Fahrzeugzulieferindustrie vor der Freigabe umfangreiche Fahrzeugmessungen mit Prototypen durchgeführt, um die mechanische Belastung dieser Komponenten durch Fahrzeugschwingungen zu untersuchen und später ein Versagen im Betrieb auszuschließen. Aufgrund des hohen experimentellen Aufwandes sind Fahrzeugmessungen zeit- und kostenintensiv.Numerische Simulationen mit Gesamtfahrzeugmodellen bieten die Möglichkeit, den experimentellen Aufwand deutlich zu reduzieren. Außerdem können mit virtuellen Prototypen, die bereits vor realen Prototypen existieren, zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt Vorhersagen über die zu erwartenden Schwingbelastungen getroffen werden.Hierdurch kann eine höhere Entwicklungsqualität bei geringerer Entwicklungsdauer erwartet werden.Inhalt dieser Arbeit ist eine Machbarkeitsstudie, in der die Möglichkeiten und die Grenzen der numerischen Fahrzeugsimulation zur Zuverlässigkeitsabsicherung von Kraftfahrzeugkomponenten aufgezeigt werden. Dabei wird ein bestehendes Gesamtfahrzeugmodell verwendet, das bei einem Fahrzeughersteller entwicklungsbegleitend eingesetzt wird. Vergleichsmessungen an einem realen Fahrzeug liefern den experimentellen Hintergrund für eine Validierung.Neben der deterministischen Modellierung der Fahrbahn werden stochastische Ansätze zur Beschreibung der Fahrbahnrauhigkeit untersucht. Eine wichtige Rolle bei der Fahrzeugmodellierung spielen die eingesetzten Reifenmodelle. Verschiedene kommerzielle Modelle werden vorgestellt und zum besseren Verständnis der wichtigsten physikalischen Zusammenhänge wird ein eigenes Reifenmodell erstellt.Bei der Analyse der erforderlichen Modellkomplexität des Fahrzeugmodells zeigt sich, dass ein detailliertes Mehrkörpersystemmodell mit einer elastischen Karosserie an den betrachteten Referenzstellen gute Übereinstimmungen zu Messungen erzielt. Stochastische Unebenheiten spielen bei dieser Anwendung eine untergeordnete Rolle.Karosserie
