About the Author: Sunderesh S. Heragu is a Regents Professor and head of the School of Industrial Engineering and Management at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. Previously, he was a professor in the Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. He was on the faculty of Industrial and Systems Engineering (previously called the Decision Sciences and Engineering Systems) department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1991 to 2004. He has also taught at the State University of New York, Plattsburgh. He completed his BE in mechanical engineering at Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan, India; MBA at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada, and PhD in industrial engineering at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada.
