Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Schulpädagogik, Note: 1,0, Universität Koblenz-Landau, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Um am gesellschaftlichen Leben teilnehmen zu können, bildet die Lesefähigkeit eine wichtige Grundvoraussetzung. Ohne sie sind viele Bereiche des täglichen Lebens nicht erschließbar. Gerade unter diesem Aspekt war es umso erschreckender anzusehen, welche Ergebnisse die Pisa - Studie der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert hat. Die Befunde bezüglich der Lesemotivation von Schülern gaben an, dass 42% der teilnehmenden deutschen 15-Jährigen nie zum Vergnügen lesen, wobei nicht nur das Lesen von Büchern sondern auch von Zeitungen und Zeitschriften eingeschlossen wurde. Da mein Thema jedoch "Förderung von Lesemotivation in der Grundschule" heißt, könnte man sich die Frage stellen, warum Befunde der PISA-Studie genannt werden, die nicht die Leistung der Grundschüler, sondern die der 15-jährigen Schulabgänger aufzeigen. Grund dafür ist, dass diese schlechten Ergebnisse am Anfang der Schulzeit begründet liegen. Gelingt es den Grundschullehrern nicht von Anfang an "Lesen" als etwas Lustvolles und Bereicherndes zu vermitteln, werden die Kinder das Lesen auch nicht als etwas persönlich Wertvolles sehen und möglicherweise bereits während der Grundschulzeit dem Buch den Rücken zuwenden und zu anderen Medien wie Computer oder Spielkonsole abwandern. Die zentrale Frage der ist, welche sozialen Faktoren sich fördernd und hemmend auf die Lesemotivation von Kindern auswirken und inwiefern die Grundschule dazu beitragen kann, dass eine langfristige Lesefreude bei den Schülern entsteht. Als erstes wird die familiäre Umgebung als wichtiger Einflussfaktor bei der Entstehung von Lesemotivation eines Menschen behandelt. Als zweiter wichtiger Einflussfaktor wird die Schule thematisiert, wobei ich mich auf die Grundschule beschränken werde.
