About the Book

"Some people like to watch things happen; I like to make things happen." So went the motto of Bishop Hardy Lee Coleman, Sr, and demonstrated this point again and again. Now come and be inspired as you see his remarkable journey with God. On May 20, 1922, when Hardy Lee Coleman was born in a log cabin on a farm, on a dirt road, in Benton County, Mississippi, few people realized the significance of the moment. But God did! He had special plans for this man, who would prove to be one-of-a-kind. Yet it would take several years before the plans would unfold. In the meantime, Hardy had to endure rigorous fieldwork as a sharecropper's son, abandonment by his own father at 12 years of age, and the dishonor which went with being black in a segregated rural south. Yet this remarkable young man overcame all of these challenges as he moved into his destiny ordained by God. At the time of his death at 93 years of age, Bishop Coleman led congregations scattered around north Mississippi, as well as Tennessee, Illinois, and Georgia. He led thousands to Jesus and mentored hundreds of ministry leaders. Come and see what God can do with a man whose life is totally His.
About the Author: Suellen Estes is a Christian author and speaker whose passion is to share the love, the wisdom, and the power God has provided for those who believe in Him. That wisdom is to discover their gifts and their purpose in life, and the power is to help them live that life to the fullest. Suellen grew up in a Christian home, but during her college years she took a turn. Intellectualism caused her to question the simplicity of the gospel, and she began to search in many directions. After years of searching, Suellen found herself desperate for the truth. She had just gone through a crisis in her life, and realized that her self-centered lifestyle wasn't providing the answers she needed. At that moment she was willing to listen, and that is the moment when Jesus changed her life forever - replacing her desperation with hope and faith. Suellen's book, Forever Upward: A Mother's Journey Through Prayer, shares her story - along with lessons of faith and prayer she has learned. This book has helped many to receive God's delivering power for themselves and for their children. For 23 years Suellen assisted her husband in pastoring Life Connection Church in Blue Mountain, MS. They are leaders in The Voice of Awakening, led by Ken Malone, and Network Ekklesia International, led by Dutch Sheets. Their mission is to help others discover the truth of God's Word and how to fulfill their own destiny as ordained by God. They believe that when people rise to their God-ordained places, awakening will come throughout the country and around the world. Suellen's blog, suellenestes.com, provides motivation and encouragement to reach higher and trust God more. Suellen is the mother of four amazing children - all with equally amazing spouses, and 13 (yes, 13) grandchildren. When they are all together, they are a lively bunch, and she loves every minute of it.
