It's possible that the "slow and steady" evolution of the American paradigm is too blurry to highlight what we are looking for. It is the cataclysmic events which better explain the story, such as the 9-11 attack explains the turnaround success of the George W. Bush presidency as clearly as anything. To see Donald Trump in history, this book brings into focus the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack, the reasons behind how this could happen as a matter of supremacy-thinking, because hindsight is 20-20. Now many evangelical Christians have asked publicly how it is that their own Christian people came to support a somewhat immoral candidate such as Donald Trump right out of the box. And, there is little way to make sense of it, unless we look at the hazy origins of Christianity itself, which is the first Great Church Counsel in 325 CE organized by the Roman Emperor Constantine. Then it all rolls along rather consistently until the 1400s, until other cataclysmic events occur, and this book looks particularly at three shifts, which then led to Martin Luther's nailing of his thesis on the Wittenberg Door in 1517, generally identified as the birth of Protestantism. Luther didn't just do that for no good reason and if we want to see Donald Trump down through history, we will want to understand that too. Finally, there have been breakthroughs in physics across recent decades which explains how Donald Trump HIMSELF utilizes such principles to create his own reality. This book is mostly scratched out with pen and ink because the author likes doing that and thinks diagrams are easy and fun to look at. Slightly messy and misspelled is part of it. The author contends that if we can understand the exquisite Donald Trump down through history, perhaps we can better understand how America came to "think our thoughts" the way the population does and such review contributes to broader individual clarity and the national conversation.
