About the Book

In Exodus 2012: A Mission to Save the Earth, Jesus Christ returns, not on the clouds, but reincarnated as a Chinese Tai Chi master named Hu Jing Sheng, who brings a message designed to save the earth. Jing Sheng's message is based on both the Mayan prophecy about the year 2012 as well as the scripture verse Exodus 20:12. A global mission unfolds, with children as its centerpiece for saving life on earth. Following the story line of Moses in the book of Exodus, Jing Sheng gathers a new generation of disciples just as Christ did long ago, then leads an exodus from old, dysfunctional human patterns of belief, thought, and behavior. In the process, Jing Sheng creates a global mission of eco-communes and international travel, during which he re-presents the ten commandments, newly re-envisioned as guidelines for life. Jing Sheng confronts the Pharoahs of today, while preaching, teaching, and healing with Christ-like authority. Exodus 2012 offers a powerful, yet controversial interfaith vision for healing the earth and saving her people, while also achieving global peace and harmony.
About the Author: Rev. Carol "Nonnie" Richardson is a Co-Creator of the Self-Realization Community in the Washington, DC area, as well as an energy healer, life coach, and meditation teacher. Born of missionary parents in what was the Belgian Congo, Richardson traveled back-and-forth between the U.S.A. and Africa during her whole childhood and youth. First told that she could "cure animals with her hands" at the age of 13 by a mystic from India, Richardson experienced a decades-long quest to make sense of those words. Her quest has included four years of Eastern spiritual studies in England, Reiki training, years of practicing Raja Yoga meditation, and has culminated in the energy healing work that she currently offers in Washington, DC. With a B.S. in psychology, a Master of Public Health degree, and a Master of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University Divinity School, Richardson states that her studies reflect love for people in mind, body, and soul, as well as her passion for supporting and encouraging health in all three areas. Widowed at the age of 28, Richardson was left to raise a 7-month-old son and a 22-month-old daughter on her own. Ironically, it was at this time that she felt her "call to ministry." Richardson is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Having returned to the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2005, Richardson has been actively seeking ways to contribute to the reduction of poverty, particularly among children ever since, by selling fair trade items from the Congo, supporting orphans in Kinshasa, and educating people about the plight of children living in poverty worldwide. On Thursday May 27, 2010, Richardson received an Enlightenment Vision, which has led to her pursuing an interfaith spiritual path towards peace, love, joy, and harmony. She seeks to share this path with others, and invites all to join her on this path to inner wholeness. Nonnie Carol understands her role to be that of guru-doula: empowering us to see the Divine Presence within ourselves, and giving birth to Divine Presence individually and together.
