Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Sachunterricht, Heimatkunde, Note: 1,7, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Rahmen des Kinderforschungstages vom 19. Juni 2013 wurde ein anschauliches und verständliches Projekt mit dem Thema "Vom Mais zum Popcorn" den Schülern der dritten und vierten Klassen aus Vechta präsentiert. Dieses Projekt umfasste übergreifende Prinzipien und handlungsorientierte Aufgaben, damit die Schüler motivierend und fundiert neue Erkenntnisse erlangen. Das Thema "Vom Mais zum Popcorn" sollte dabei viele verschiedene Perspektiven aufgreifen und an das Wissen der Schüler anknüpfen, sowie weiterführendes Verstehen fördern. Das Thema dieser Arbeit umfasst die Untersuchung der Exemplarität auf das gewählte Projekt. Das bedeutet eine genauere Analyse, inwiefern sich das Thema als akzentuiertes Beispiel eignet und ob eine Übertragbarkeit von dem Besonderen zum Allgemeinen möglich und auch sinnvoll ist. Aufgrund überfüllter Lehrpläne und Oberflächlichkeit des Unterrichts hat das Prinzip der Exemplarität eine entlastende Funktion, die immer mehr Bedeutung in einer Welt von überfüllten Reizen b-kommt. Das große "Ganze" innerhalb einer kurzen Unterrichtszeit zu erfassen, ist schlichtweg unmöglich. Daher werden Beispiele herausgearbeitet, welche anhand eines Themas Grundsätze und Grundprinzipien erkennen und erlernen lässt, diese sich dann auf andere ähnliche Phänomene, Problematiken oder Sachverhalte übertragen lassen. Somit dient die Exemplarität dazu einen Einzelfall, etwas Typisches, jenes für eine große Auswahl eines Sachgebietes mit gleicher Struktur steht, mit der man die Stofffülle des Faches Sachunterricht, etwas entzerren und vor allem über-sichtlicher gestalten kann (vgl. Köhnlein 2012, S. 130). Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, dieses Projekt anhand des Prinzips der Exemplarität zu erläutern. Dabei soll die Komplexität des Themas auf einen angemessen, kindgerechten Rahmen begutachtet werden und die Übertragbarkeit von dem Gelern
