About the Author
Tonja Nunnally was born and raised in beautiful South Florida. She's the mother of three wonderful young adults and grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren. She is also the founder and CEO of Her She Women Empowerment, which was established in 2018 and serves women who've experienced trauma, providing a safe space to feel empowered, encouraged, and inspired.
Tonja arms women with the tools needed to find and use their voice to speak up against the abuse that has silenced them for far too long. As a survivor of abuse herself, she shares her personal story in her newly released book, The Evolution of a Victim Turned Victorious: A True Story of a Woman Surviving and Overcoming Years of Abuse. She wrote this book to help other women who suffer in silence to break through, like she did.
Although Tonja works as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, she is also a professional model, actress, and empowerment speaker, as well as author. In 2014, at the 9th International Women's Day Gala held by International Women, she won The Women Is Power Award in recognition of her relentless efforts in touching and molding the lives of women. Tonja was also recognized in the 2021, K.I.S.H. Magazine Fall Issue as one of the top 28 marketplace influencers on the move.
