About the Book

The investigation of a mass murderer named Hazel, who is responsible for the disappearance of over twenty people. Detectives go on a thrill ride trying to uncover the secrets of the ruthless and deranged serial killer Hazel, who is in a coma. With new aged technology, the detectives enter Hazel's mind to find out his secrets. However, the detectives are not ready for a world overrun by criminals, war, and never-ending mayhem. The detectives battle numerous killers in a race against time to learn Hazel's secrets to save the lives of over a dozen people. The detectives go beyond the line of duty. The blood shed leaves their souls drenched and their frame of mind consumed by darkness. The wind blows the debris and glass across the ground. The air outside of the hospital reeks of garbage and foul matter. The smell of flesh rotting carries a strong powerful stench, floating on the humid breeze. Mark's Legs feel weak as he stumbles down the sidewalk. The streets are deserted; cars line the ditches; and debris and trees cover the road. Mark looks in the distance and sees the flames on the river. The flames are so intense he can hear the fire burning; and the heat bubbles the sweat on his neck. The bright fire shines on the cars sitting in the parking lot illuminating the dark streets. Hopefully, a car will take him away from this place, allowing him to find an opportunity to get information. With nothing to lose at this point, he staggers towards the parking lot. Mark looks back at the hospital. The face of the building lays crumbled on the ground. He can see the interior of the building from the street. Dark and gloomy sections sit wide open. He puts the devastation behind him and staggers toward the cars. He makes his way across the street to the parking lot. Lines of cars glimmer from the flames. A selection of exotic cars, new and old, sit waiting to be took. Exhausted and in agony, Mark falls to the ground and lays motionless, taking a few minutes to build up some energy. After a thirty-minute rest, Mark crawls in between the cars trying to pull himself to his feet. Mark looks through the windshield of the cars and sees a man carrying a shotgun. Mark lies on the ground, as the man approaches. Mark watches the man's feet walk between the cars. Mark hears the sound of glass breaking, shattering as it hits the ground. The man's feet move with a swagger, getting closer and closer. The man moves slowly around the cars, breaking the windows. Mark watches the glass fall to the ground. The man's boots crush the glass. The car door opens, and the man's feet disappear. The car door shuts and the engine tries to start. The engine roars and then dies seconds later. The car door opens; and two feet slowly hit the ground crushing the shattered glass. One by one, the man's feet move toward Mark. A car stands between Mark and the man. Mark lays motionless, looking at the feet. They feet are so close that he can reach out and touch them. Glass shatters from the car's window and falls to the pavement. The shattered glass bounces off the ground and spreads out under the car cutting Mark's face. Mark covers his afflictions and loses sight of the feet. Mark thinks about asking the man about what has happened. However, the one responsible for the shooting inside of the hospital is unknown. Provoking the man could be deadly knowing the shotgun will not show any mercy. The man gets in the car Mark lays next to and starts the car. The engine roars with force. Fumes stream from the exhaust pipe and blows in Marks face, smothering him. The wheels start to move forward and the car speeds out of the parking lot, leaving a trail of smoke.
